We Normaly Stay In On A Friday Evening,

but last night we made an exception for a special engagement,
first of course it was food, so off to the market on Third Road,
it is always busy there at around 6 in the evening with people going home from work getting a take home,
and Diana wanted some more insects,
there were a lot to chose from, the procedure is then to drop them into a pan of hot oil and a number of green leaves,
the bugs are cooking now,
if you want to try some this is the front of the stall next to the pharmacy,
after our chicken soup it was of to Walking Street,
but this time we were walking towards Bali Hai pier,
Right Spot Steak house on the left, first started in I believe 1976 and has been there ever since,
this is the new Soho Square and where we will end up, but we were a bit early so we carried on having a walk along the street,
past the Food Fair which I think used to be Nang Nual Seafood restaurant,
Diana was fascinated by these never emptying coke and beer cans,
the cans were hanging in mid air with no means of support, fliud just continued to pour out of them non-stop, try as she might she just could not work out how it was done!
then it was back down to Soho Square where the reason for our night out was performing, it was Joe at Khim and Tony's wedding reception doing his magic show, if you want to see more of his resume go here, it was a entertaining show, even trying to watch some of the tricks I have seen before I still do not quite know how they were done, so a early night for us as the show finished about 9, on the way back we bumped into Alan, Doc. Jeff and Mark, then it was home for a DVD and bed.
