With Songkran Nearly Here A Lot Of Friends Have Left For A Few Days,

but not us! so first thing in the morning it was stock up with food and booze!
Mr. Tony called to say he had been held up in traffic, due to the red shirts, but he with Mike and Riza arrived at the same time,
Fe and Geoff brought some Easter chocolates for Diana, they are I am sure still here somewhere, but Diana has hidden them or more likely eaten them!
just a few of us tonight, Mike and Riza, Geoff and Fe, Mr. Tony, myself,
Mark and Uncashar, Riza brought along some of her spring rolls, trouble is when you eat one you want to eat them all!
there was so much food, we had home made Thai chicken curry and mango, with spare ribs, pork and chicken, all marinated by Diana,
also one uninvited guest, good job the girls did not see it our it would have ended up in the pot!,
Mark brought along a delicious cheese cake for desert and Geoff chocolate Easter eggs,
meanwhile downstairs the girls tucked into some of the things they bought in the market, talk was of course about the traffic chaos that the red shirts brought to Pattaya, I must admit that I thought that some thing like this would have been better staged on one of the many beautiful islands that Thailand has to offer, as always easy to comment after the event, hopefully things will return to normal after the red shirts (and yellow shirts and blue shirts) have returned home and Songkran has finished,
talk also for some reason turned to censorship, primary in countries that you think have little or none, Japan was mentioned but then the powers that be there are in total denial of things like Unit 731, (if you go to this link it makes for horrific reading) that tittle can not be mentioned in any book or television program in Japan - it did not exist, on a lighter subject about Japan, well thinking about it not that much lighter, I mentioned that I had many posts ago made one about bat bombs and how the idea went slightly askew, you can look back to my post or read about it here. well for the next week or so I guess we can expect to get wet with the water throwing starting in Bangkok soon with it culminating next Saturday and Sunday in Pattaya, Diana and myself enjoyed the festival immensely last year, in truth this year has just flown past, it only seems a short time ago that we were getting wet in Walking Street, Oh well time flies when you are having fun!
