these three long furred tree rats with good PR, were rescued when the tree they were living in was felled, they were discovered by animal lover Richard Ereth-Purves, he hand feed the critters and gave them milk from a pipette at his home in Newport, Isle of Wight, one of the few places they have not been replaced by the introduced grey squirrel, Richard, 54, who has also rescued and cared for buzzards, owls, hedgehogs and rooks, said: "They were tiny when I found them, I could get all three in the same hand." all together now go, Ah!
