Bournemouth's Keystone Cops Are At It Again!

in a previous blog I made mention of speed cops for cyclists at Bournemouth, I never realised how big a problem it was, nine policemen were called in to arrest a cyclist, who was handcuffed, placed in a police van and later bailed, last night locals questioned the use of so many officers, on an Internet forum, one said: 'I wish the local busy-bodies, council and police would put as much effort into real issues, such as drink, drugs, violence and vandalism.' another read: 'Glad to see the cops have enough bodies to keep this major problem under control, we can all sleep safe tonight.' it should be borne in mind that there are no penalties available, a ticket or fine can not be issued, just a request to slow down, which means, I guess, in a perverse way would encourage a few people to go faster, why not?
