You Could Have Knocked Me Over With A Feather!

when I read today that Peter Hitchens agrees with me! Peter Hitchens is a columnist for The Mail on Sunday, he has now agreed with me that wind farms are as useful as hamsters in tread mills, I have always said the costs of land, buying the windmill, installing it and the maintenance costs will never result in cheaper electricity, why do we not wake up and see sense? the tree huggers! we should all take a leaf out of the book that France is reading, from Peters article, 'even if the prophecies of the man-made global warming cultists were proven, which they aren’t, these measures would be an idiotic response to the problem, nuclear power, as the French well know, produces no carbon emissions and also ends dependence on Russia for gas and the Middle East for oil, and it works in a dead calm, too,' 'this must be one of the first instances of a civilisation voluntarily and consciously going backwards, we might as well rely for our economic and industrial future on tens of millions of hamsters pattering frantically round treadmills, hamsters only do this by night, windmills only make electricity when it is windy' well the last statement deserves a Ph. D in stating the bleeding obvious, but as I have always maintained wind farms a major waste of time and resources, well at least 1 person agrees with me!
