A Lot Of Twitchers Are In A Flap,

over a rare sighting, of a Eastern Crowned Warbler, all hoping to get a glimpse of this rare visitor to our shores, it was first spotted by a keen bird-watcher's wedding anniversary vigil, Dougie Holden, 47-year-old father-of-two spent his 26th wedding anniversary at the Trow Quarry in South Tyneside, on Thursday, hoping to catch sight of a Yellow Browed Warbler, which sometimes visit in autumn, but instead saw the Eastern, Mr Holden said: "I couldn't believe it, I've been interested in birds since I was a small boy and this really is the absolute ultimate, in the bird-watching world, it's the equivalent of winning the World Cup." although there have been four European sightings of the bird since 1843, this is a first for the UK, guess that's global warming.
