I Remember Years Ago When The First Home Computers Hit The Shops,

the cry was 'that will be the end of the paper industry!' we were told everything would be recorded on computers, no more paper, all I can say is we use more paper with a computer than we ever did before,
which is why we went to Tuk Com computer center, as usual it was packed with traffic trying to get out on to a grid locked Pattaya Tai, there was another reason for coming as well, Diana wanted some doughnuts!
after we ate breakfast Diana wanted to get her hair cut, so of the the barbers shop, or I should say beauty saloon,
first a shampoo,
then dry and cut,
the finished result,
Diana and her new 'bob' look,
baked salmon for our evening meal with all of the trimmings,
and on to the weekend evening market on Thepresitt,
one of the mobile food stalls, this one fresh fruit,
by the bar where we sit waiting for the girls to finish their shopping was a temporary Honda sales stall,
available in a number of colours,
and paint schemes,
even down to custom exhaust systems,
in flaming red!
on to the fish and plant section,
some nice hanging baskets,
and of course orchids,
another new one,
a delicate blue,
and pastel yellow,
then on to the only marine stall in the market,
lots of clown fish in the front aquarium,
back past the food stalls,
and to the bar where the girls have just arrived from their shopping fest,
Mick and Mass were there with us this evening,
Diana, new haircut and myself,
home feet up and watch a couple of DVD's first X2, the X-Men band together to find a mutant assassin who has made an attempt on the President's life, while the Mutant Academy is attacked by military forces, if you liked the first this one is even better,
next Judge Dredd, Dredd is a "street judge" - and the judges are the closest thing to a government in a post-apocalyptic future where nuclear war has concentrated all of the world's population into mega-cities, law as we knew it, collapsed, from the decay, rose a new order, a new style of justice enforcers, they were the police, jury and executioner all in one, they were, The Judges, I guess that just about says it all, then off to bed.
