I Could Not Help But Notice The UK Has Had A Bit Of Snow,

so it seemed quiet natural for a teacher to bring a sledge to school, even before this years snow fall Richard Tremelling, 37 brought a sledge to class, as he was demonstrate design technology to his class of 15-year-olds, the sledge was a racing design, as you can imagine after the lesson everyone wanted to try it out, so off to the playing fields, after trying a slope himself and marking a course out 2 boys had a go, as you can imagine they enjoyed it immensely, but not so the teacher, Mr Tremelling was sacked from his £40,000-a-year job as head of technology for breaching health and safety rules,

the first rule he broke? Rosa Fernandes, presenting the case, said: ‘Mr Tremelling took the sledge to school without the authorisation of the head,' he then broke another 8 rules regarding Health and Safety, Mr Tremelling told the hearing he took the sledge into the 650-pupil Cefn Hengoed Community School in Swansea as a teaching aid to incorporate the weather conditions into a lesson, 'a number of pupils stayed behind interested and excited,’ he added. ‘they wanted to see it in use and, giving it some thought, I agreed' big mistake! Mr Tremelling was suspended following the sledge lesson after a snowfall in February 2009, he was dismissed in January last year, the hearing in Cardiff is expected to end today, no wonder kids find school so boring these days, another triumph to the Health and Safety brigade!
