In The Few Days They Have Been Growing,

I have been amazed at how fast Diana's sunflower seeds have grown,
they were just pushing through the soil a couple of days ago,
but now they are 3 or 4 inches tall, so we are off to Soi Bukaow market to buy some fertiliser for them,
we parked in Friendship car park as when we finished in the market we had to do some shopping there, but on our way to the market I saw this reminder about not parking on the wrong side of the street,
the rule applies on alternate days, odd days park on the left, even days park on the right, it is designed to ease traffic in the rush hour, (but not the morning one as it does not come into effect till 11.00 in the morning),
many of the shops have displays for the upcoming Chinese New Year celebrations,
then into the market, it is going to be a hot one today,
the garlic seller is always in the same place,
looking around the pet/plant section I noticed this plant I have never seen before,
the downward drooping flower was the most intense red,
after Diana's success with the sunflowers I decided to buy a few bulbs and some fertiliser for the sunflowers,
then Diana made her way back to the coffee shop laden with shopping for an iced coffee,
I also decided to buy a few fish, then home, Mark called round for a cuppa and a chat,
after our evening meal, Don and Steve called in for some liquid refreshment,
naturally we had to have some bubbly to celebrate Steve's latest addition to his family, this time a boy,
and catch up on all of the gossip from both of them, we talked the night away recounting stories of past and future travels, then Steve left for home and Don stayed the night, so then we were off to bed.
