I Had To Leave early This Morning,

so straight on with the blog, our next door neighbour has decided to have some of the mango tree overhanging his property cut back,
health and safety flip-flops not in evidence!
then the Pacquiao/Mosley fight, a bit one sided but I think Mosley did well to last all 12 rounds, no prizes for guessing who Diana was shouting for! today we called Mr. Tony, we were going to call over and have a seafood lunch, so we arrived at Mr. Tony's to pick him up and off we went,
but not very far, about 2 kilometers from his house our truck came to a shuddering halt, worse it was at a busy junction, worse still it was raining with a vengeance, the good news was that a friend of Mr. Tony's stopped, so in the pouring rain it was look at the engine to see what was wrong, at first I thought the immobiliser needed a new battery, but that was not it, we primed the diesel pump and all noticed that some fuel was coming from the bottom of it, I now know it should not do that! the fuel filter had been incorrectly fitted so it leaked, (not by Nissan I hasten to add, but a road side garage when the throttle gave out), luckily Mr. Tony's friend gave him a lift home, meanwhile to owner of the shop where we had broken down sped of to find a mechanic, he duly arrived, tighten the offending fuel filter and we were on our way! but he did say the plastic thread had stripped so get to a garage for a new filter ASAP, so we slowly made our way home, there is nothing worse than driving knowing that at any time the engine might die, but we made it, first stop tomorrow, Nissan!
Phil called to say he was in the Punch and Judy, did we want to join him for lunch, well we had not eaten so why not? there we meet his charming girlfriend Kay,
'Cheers!' from Phil and myself,
later in the evening Mike called to see if we were in, so he called round with Riza for a coffee and a chat, then as it was getting late it was time for them to leave,
but as we said our goodbyes we noticed this little chap in the garden,
Riza informed us that it is one that can not be eaten, well you can but you will be ill, so we took a quick picture, then for us off to bed.
