First Thing In The Morning Phil Called Round,

so we were off to TESCO to do a bit of shopping,

so naturally we had to start with a Swensens ice cream,

strawberry for Phil and myself, a banana boat for Diana, we needed to buy a couple of sets of drawers as Diana's wardrobe was too small for all of her clothes,

no sooner had we arrived back then we were invited to meet up with Brian, Sa and family along with Juu and Dang at a restaurant on Sumkivitt Road, I am not sure of the Thai name but translated it means 'wood boat' for directions leave Pattaya as if you are going to Sattahip, drive past TESCO and the Outlet Mail on your right, under the pedestrian bridge and it is 150 meters or so on the left, about 400 meters before the U turn for the aquarium,

we had a huge table for our group, Brian and Sa all smiles,

there were lots of things to keep the kids amused, also a swing and other toys,

the tables are set out around a fish pool,

some of Brian and Sa's family,

the menu was huge, in English and Thai,

fish, shrimp, crab, beef, pork and chicken all made their way to the table, all delicious, if you are looking for a nice Thai style restaurant give this one a try, but remember they close from 3.30 in the afternoon till 5.00, also many thanks to Brian and Sa for treating us all,

next stop 388 for a drink there, we next decamped to Juu's house so Brian could take a look at Juu's new Harley,

whilst we were there Juu received a phone call, a huge clown spotted knifefish (Notopterus Chilata) was on its way to Juu's house, locally called Plah Klaey, if you have ever eaten Thai fish cakes, this is the fish they are made from, this one weighed nearly 4 kilos, then just as I was leaving Diana called to say that Phil was in the Punch & Judy,

so I had to call in for a night cap with him there,

by now it was late, so time for just one film, The Shawshank Redemption, set in the 1940's, the film shows how Andy Dufresne, with the help of his friend Red, the prison entrepreneur, spend their time to forge a lasting friendship, nice film, then for us off to bed.
