I Do Like Cars,

but I am not sure about this one,

a dog loving owner who had a, in my opinion a beautiful XK150, decided that he want to take the dogs out in it rather than buy a second car, so taking the back from a Morris Minor Traveller and the front of his Jaguar he welded them together to form a XK estate Minor, the car, which has been welded or bolted together in the middle, benefits from a much larger back than the ordinary 1959 Jaguar with the same 3.4 litre engine, do I like it? in truth I would have preferred the 7 years build to have produced the XK 150 as an original rather than this hybrid, but at the end of the day it did the job for Jaguar enthusiast Geoffrey Stevens in the mid 1970s, the hybrid has a French numberplate, though it was registered in the UK prior to 2000 with number plate '558 NOT' can you afford it? a price of £30,000-£35,000 is being quoted by Bonhams auctioneers at their Goodwood Revival Sale in Chichester, West Sussex, on September 16.
