It Only Seems Like Last Week I Was Writing,

Sunday Again!

time seems to fly past, the second flower in the front garden has grown in size over the last few days,

I had at first thought it would be a lot smaller than its brother but has grown just as large,

some of the hibiscus are flowering too,

we were told that the Punch & Judy had replenished their stock of lamb shank the day before, so it was there that we went,

for a starter Mr. Tony had pâté, Phil went for mushroom soup,

whilst we shared a starter of honey wrapped duck,

for the main course Phil went for the lamb roast,

 gammon ham for Diana,

whilst Mr. Tony went for the lamb shank that he was looking forward to so much last week,

 'Cheers!', from him,

 and myself,

 dessert was a banoffee pie,

whilst we shared a chocolate ice cream, Mr. Tony called back with us, so it was feet up to watch a couple of DVDs he had not seen before,

Diana decided to make a start on some strawberries,

2012 was the first film we watched that Mr. Tony had not seen before, it is the end of the earth, well most of it,

keeping to the end of the world theme The Day After Tomorrow was next, the world is going to enter a new ice age, as the world population tries to evacuate to the warm climates of the south Jack Hall races to save his son,

after Mr. Tony left we settled down to watch Men with Brooms, it follows the fortunes of a group of reunited curling players from a small Canadian town struggle to win the championship for the sake of their late coach, I think this review written by a reviewer sums the movie up, 'just offensive enough to feel adult, just enough comedy to make you laugh, and enough curling to remind you you're watching a sports movie', the end to another great Sunday, then with that we were off to bed.
