We Had A Bit Of Shopping To Do,

so off to town,

I have started straight on with the post today, having slept in with a bit of a hangover, but more of that later, all set and ready to go,

but the town had changed, because of the firework show this evening many of the streets had been made one way,

but if you do not know and come out of one of the smaller side roads it is a bit daunting to find three or four lanes of traffic coming towards you!

also crossing the road is more dangerous than usual as there is not any gaps in the traffic, but made it at last,

we are going fishing on Monday so I thought we would buy the bait today as we were in the area,

Diana spent the day tiding the house, which meant that I could not find anything I needed as all of my bits and pieces I leave strewn around the house had been tided up, then we were off,

we wanted to be at the Pattaya Beer Garden for our evening meal and have a seafront table to watch the firework display,

just as we were leaving we spotted some thing in the sky,

a kite, it has been so windy lately that having seen one I am surprised more are not being flown,

 Diana making the pose,

then into town, past the seafood restaurants,

they have great looking neon signs,

new to the street is this Indian restaurant,

we were lucky, there was just one table left when we arrived, the place was packed,

we were at the far side of the restaurant over looking the seafood restaurants seating area,

although a bit difficult to see the blue lights which switch on and of make it look like the wind surfer is moving through the waves,

 Diana had some Thai food,

 the kitchen was working overtime,

for myself a 300 gram burger and chips, 'Cheers!',

we then had a bit of luck, just before Juu, his wife and her cousin arrived we managed to move to a table in a much better position to watch the show, I have put the pictures of the fireworks in a separate post as there are so many of them,

after watching about half of the show the girls decided to have a walk along Beach Road at all of the stalls set up there, whilst Juu and myself went to have a look at some of the other go-gos, just as we were leaving we bumped into Patrick of Heavens Above fame, then Brain's father, but on to our first stop Silver Star,

followed by Alcatraz, as you might have guessed from its name it looks like a prison inside with cells all around the top floor,

 lots of signs,

 in both directions,

Peppermint was next on our list,

then we made our way to see Grieg in Roxy's, where we had a few more for the road,

Walking Street was packed with a few shows being put on for the crowds like this one, we all meet up in Champions, Brian and Sa along with his father, we were also joined there by Damon then Lee walked in seeing us all he lamented the loss of Steve and TQ2, by now it was more than late so we made a very unsteady move back to 388,

and watched a classic, In Search of the Castaways, from the blurb, an earthquake, a flash flood, an avalanche, a volcano, alligators, jaguars, mutineers, and man-eating Maoris dog the steps of a shipping company owner, a scientist, and the two children of a lost sea captain, if you want to see the fireworks pictures they are in the previous post, then for us off to bed.
