All We Did Today,

was a little shopping in the market,

 I dropped Diana off,

as I had a few things to pick up,

so I gave Diana the camera to take a couple of pictures in the market,

we needed amongst other things like fresh fruit some vegetables,

then to Tesco for some milk, Milo and ice,

after our evening meal we settled down for some DVDs, when a huge thunderstorm started outside,

the rain just poured down, it was windy too, so that the motion detector light was almost always on as it picked up the motion of the tree in our small front garden as it was buffeted by the wind,

the first of the films we watched was the 2011 Rise of the Planet of the Apes, in this film a serum is discovered that halts and in fact turns back the effects of Alzheimer's disease, but as you might expect things go wrong, after trying the cure on a chimp it makes huge jumps in intelligence, eventually leading a breakout from the research facility, great special effects make this all the more enjoyable,

to round off the evening, X-Men: First Class, I guess another title could be Dawn of the Mutants, the film portrays the first meetings of all of the main characters of the earlier films, also how Xavier is sentenced to spend the rest of his life in a wheel chair, we thought the special effects in the previous film were good, but in this one the effects are even better, then with all of that excitement we were off to bed.
