There Did Not Seem To Be Much That We Found Interesting, Amusing Or Just Plain Weird,

in the news today, so with that,

and the fact that we are out early today, on with the post, first thing off to the bank, then in the afternoon we watched a new 3D BluRay that we had not watched before,

in the evening we were off, so glad rags on,

having been on a diet for some time Diana said that I should try on a cream coloured pair of trousers that I had grown out of, guess what? they fitted!

Ah! a self portrait of us taken by Diana,

this was the dress I bought for her last week,

no we were not going to the fair, it was on the site of what was once the X-Cite disco,

we were going opposite it, to Cherry's,

Slim Jim had very kindly arranged the evening for all of us, the celebration was that it was the birthday of Ganesh, the girls were first up for starters,

we were joined by Mike and Riza,

 and Mark,

as usual here on a Wednesday evening the selection of starters was huge,

Mark went back for a second look at the starters,

and nice they looked too,

 well we all did,

then to the cooking station,

 the girls again went first,

there was so much to chose from,

Diana's choice,

Riza decided on one trip for the main course,

 Diana decided on two trips,

 well we all did,

the guest of honour Ganesh with Slim Jim,

and a close up of the Deity,

now it was my turn for a second helping,

then Mark,

 'Cheers!' from me,

then on to the desserts,

and nice they looked too,

there was a cooler full of ice cream to tempt us as well,

not that the girls needed much tempting!

they both made a few trips to the dessert section of the buffet,

 well more than a few!

then Riza needed a little help from Slim Jim,

thinking of my diet I stuck with just the one dessert,

all to soon the meal was over, may thanks to Slim Jim for treating us all, next we made a move to 388, feet up for a few cups of coffee and tea then our friends made a move for their homes, again another great meal at Cherry's,

in the afternoon we watched Dinosaurs: Giants of Patagonia in 3D, I have to say we both enjoyed it immensely the Dinosaurs really coming out of the screen, also it again brought home the fact that the world was far warmer then than it is now, the warming of the earth was not then man made it was a natural occurrence, but back to the evening, by now it was late so for us we were off to bed.
