We Had A Few Things To Do Today,

so I was up early,

to empty the rubbish and who should greet me outside?

 the frog was back,

which was a bit strange as it was as dry as a bone with no overnight rain,

I had finished the blog, we had eaten breakfast so we were off,

to Sunny Online, it is a travel agent that had been recommended to us, it is about 50 yards along the road that goes to Nagkhlua from the Dolphin roundabout on the right hand side,

it is behind Sunny tailors, we had shopped around for a few prices, Diana wanted to go back and see her family before Christmas, this travel agent was 2,000 baht a ticket cheaper than the rest, so we bought our tickets there,

as we were out we also stopped in to the aquatic shop for a look around,

as I looked Diana photographed some of the items for sale,

 plastic plants,

 with what looked like Nessie,

I did not see anything there so off we went,

I know competition is a good thing, but is this going too far? look at the left of this picture, you should be able to see a 7-11 behind the tree, next to it a Tesco Express, now look at the right of the picture and you will see some motorbikes,

on the left of this picture the same motorbikes, next a road leading to a condo estate and a second 7-11, so all three outlets in a row, will one or two go or will they all survive? time will tell,

last stop for the day 3BB to pay for our Internet rental, then home feet up for our evening meal,

 then the heavens opened up,

thunder, lightning and lashings of rain, perhaps the frog this morning knew it was going to rain,

we first watched The Core, 'the Earth's core has stop spinning, disasters are appearing all over the world, birds acting crazy, powerful thunderstorms, 32 people died to the second in a 10 block radius but everyone else is unharmed, great start to the film, and good special effects', this is what I wrote the last time we watched it, still a great start to the film,

then 1612: Khroniki smutnogo vremeni, a real visual treat, be warned it has a Russian soundtrack with a few English subtitles, few meaning it is a film you really have to watch, and what a treat it was, both Diana and myself enjoyed it immensely, based around the time in the title it traces the time of troubles in Russ, the war between Poland and Russia, the continual infighting to find a new Czar and the beginning of the 300 year rule of the House of Romanov, a good attention to detail with spot on period costumes, storyline and photography, but the special effects are more than a bit gory, but then hand to hand fighting always has been, this film shows it as near to how it must have been,

Waking the Dead, Harbinger, was our last of the evening, Sarah Cavendish, joins Boyd's team as they reopen the case of banker Donald Rees, missing for three years, but Boyd believes that she has been forced on him as damaged goods, Rees it appears drew £100,000 in cash from his account, met a mysterious couple then disappeared, but what has that to do with his wife Julie, who has terminal cancer and her children Miranda and Toby, who report seeing an elderly couple in funereal black stalking them when Donald vanished? with that we were off to bed.
