First Thing And We Were Off To The Clinic,

for the results of last weeks blood test,

the results were surprisingly good, kidney function normal, liver normal, you could have knocked me over with a feather when the doctor said that! cholesterol high, no sign of diabetes or gout, all of the other blood and urine results normal, so the doctor suggested a two way attack on cholesterol, some exercise and a course of tablets, Zimva 20g to be taken before sleeping, its generic name is Simvastatin it is an enzyme blocker (HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor), also known as a 'statin',  Simvastatin 20mg can be used along with a proper diet to help lower cholesterol and fats (triglycerides) in the blood, so a 90 day pack of tablets and off I go after making an appointment for 3 months time, next stop to TukCom, we picked up the printer and a card reader for Diana, so she can download her pictures when she is back seeing her family,

another bit of good news was that there was no charge for the repair, well done Inkman! naturally it rained as we returned to the bike,

the good news was that the black was now working 100%, the bad news was that the red and blue were not, despite trying the self clean option on the printer the red and blue refused to work, so back we went, hopefully to pick it up working tomorrow,

we watched a few of the series we like after our evening meal, Pawn Stars, Kings of Restoration etc, but rounded off the evening with The Adventures of Tintin, the Secret of the Unicorn, which we watched in 3D, great fun as the cartoon characters run amok in Morocco, Tintin and his dog Snowy team up with Captain Haddock to take on his nemesis Sakharine to unravel the secrets of the Unicorn, it really was so enjoyable, we are both looking forward to the next adventure that Tintin and Snowy gets involved in, then for us off to bed.
