Straight On To Today's Post,

I am out early this morning,

first thing along to the bank,

then over the road for a late breakfast/early lunch,

Diana looking as lovely as ever,

looking back inland we could see a balloon in the distance,

it was bit to far away to see what it was until I zoomed in with the camera,

Ripley's of course! I would have put a link to their site but when I tried I received this warning,

also looking towards the shore I noticed these,

the remains of the jetty we used so much on our first visits to Pattaya in the early 1980s, revealed now at low tide,

first beer of the day,

meanwhile for Diana her Thai style breakfast/lunch had arrived,

 quickly followed by mine,

a chicken curry to go with the beer,

 3 speedboats waiting for customers,

after our meal we made our way home, first past the water feature at the entrance to the beer garden,

then under the now working Samsung television,

making our way along Walking Street,

one of the new restaurants in the street,

and past the Lobster Pot where we had such a nice meal a few days ago,

 in the distance Champions,

then past one of the many jewelry stores,

and one of the many 7-11's,

if you know the street we took the left that runs through the Middle Eastern quarter,

into Second Road and past Marine Plaza then home, in late afternoon and early evening we watched several new episodes of different series that we like as they are normally aired for the first time on Mondays, Alaska Gold, Bearing Sea Gold and a few more besides,

to round off the evening we made a start on Gormenghast, although it has an all star cast it is quite a strange one to start with, Gormenghast castle's dynasty and time honoured rituals are threatened by the charming and evil Steerpike, set in medieval times He's determined to leave his menial position as kitchen boy and achieve ultimate control of the House of Groan for himself, as it says on the box, 6 murders, 2 seductions and 3 tragic deaths, who will rule Gormenghast? by now it was late so for us we were off to bed.
