We Are Out Early,

 as we are going fishing,

so straight on with today's post, first thing the bug company called round, they really are a change from the last crew that called round, they called in just a couple of times then disappearing with the years premium, this crew telephones the day before to make sure you are in and actually arrive at 09.30 as they said they would,

after spraying inside the house and around the garden walls we were on our way, to the fishing tackle shop on Therapist Road, we had to pick up some bait for tomorrow,

this is the view looking towards the Sumkivitt Road from the shop as a clue as to where it is, a few hundred yards up the road is the MP petrol station on the same side,

next stop Swensens, we wanted to call into Tesco lotus for some oranges, so there was no way we could walk past with out stopping in for an ice cream, whilst there we bumped into Bob and Porn so we may see Bob in the market on Friday,

 a strawberry delight for me,

whilst Diana went with one of the monthly specials which were based on green tea,

it was surprisingly quiet in Swensens, we had the choice of almost every table, there was only one other table occupied,

on the way back to the bike we stopped off at the 10 baht store outside, we wanted to replace one of the bowls we use when we mix up bait when we go fishing, one of the old ones had cracked, by the way do not let the name of the 10 baht store fool you, the bowl was 15 baht!

next stop the fish shop, we were getting low on fish food, I remember the last time we ran out, the fish did not speak to me for a week!

lots of fish to look at, but I resisted buying any,

it has been raining every day, the good news is that we have a daily show of flowers,

 like these two,

next glad rags on and we were out,

 to Cherry's

for their Wednesday night International 399 baht buffet,

we were joined this evening by Mr. Tony,

I must admit I do enjoy the starters,

and as soon as some thing looks like it is going to run out, the item then magically appears!

spaghetti carbonara and fried fish for Diana,

then on to the main courses and carvery,

snow fish and spinach for Mr. Tony, baked salmon and fried fish with a parsley sauce for me,

 all of which was delicious,

 'Cheers!' from all of us,

 so sweet,

 'Ah!',

 then on to the desserts,

and what a choice there was, all of this plus 5 or 6 flavors of ice cream in the freezer,

we all settled on the ice cream, Cherry's is on Third Road opposite the site that was once the X-Cite disco, so ask for that and I am pretty sure every baht bus or motorcycle taxi driver will know it, we then made a move for home,

to watch some of the Antiques Roadshow, which is always great fun watching as the experts give members of the public valuations of their family heirlooms, after saying our goodbyes to Mr. Tony,

we rounded off the evening with one episode from series 5 of Poirot,

The Case of the Missing Will
A terminally ill man asks Poirot to be executor of his new will but is murdered before he can write it, and it is later discovered the old will has been stolen.
then for us as we are up early to go fishing tomorrow we were off to bed.
