The Time Flies Past,

it is Sunday again,

so parking opposite the China Garden,

we made our way across Soi Bukaow,

to the Robin's Nest, in Soi Diana,

for their excellent Sunday carvery at 249 baht a head,

we were joined today by Mr. Tony and Slim Jim,

 Hi! from all of us,

I decided to have a small dinner,

I knew what was coming later, 'Cheers!',

3 normal sized ice creams for the boys,

and a special one for Diana,

a knickerbocker glory, that I knew I would have to help Diana eat,

we rounded off the excellent meal with latte coffees,

a thoroughly recommended meal, on our way out we stopped off to say Hi to Lee, the owner/manager and his beautiful other half Tuk,

as we made our way back to the car past the Metropole Hotel,

on the other side of the road there is a motorbike rental place with so many bikes, we just had to ask how many the owner had, the answer was 150 bikes, what a major task it must be just to keep all of them taxed and insured,

one of the many mobile fruit selling stalls,

then it was feet up to watch October Sky, in 1950's mining town called Coalwood, Homer Hickam is a kid with only one future in sight, to work in the local coalmine like his father, however in October 1957, everything changes when the first artificial satellite, Sputnik goes into orbit, the film is a pretty much true story of what happens next, culminating in Homer Hickam becoming a NASA worker, interestingly at the end of the film a short 8mm film is shown of the 'October Sky' boys, when they were well, boys, building rockets,

we rounded off the evening with some more of Cheers, after saying our goodbyes to Mr. Tony we were ten off to bed.
