Another One Of Those 'Good Luck'

stories we like so much,

sitting on a chest of drawers filled with flowers the owners who had inherited the vase had no idea of it's real value,

but when when valuers from auction house Christie's visited the home they immediately thought they knew it's worth, Pedram Rasti, an expert in Chinese art at the auction house, said, 'the previous owners had inherited it and didn't really know a great deal about the vase other than that it was Chinese, they didn't quite understand the potential value of what they had',

it appears the experts did not have any idea of what they had as well, the auction house and it's valuers put a guide price of £200,000 on the vase, but including the buyer's premium it went for £3 million, lucky or what!
