Great News,

our Internet connection is back to normal,

well it was good news for us, we decide to go out for breakfast and fancied a meal looking out to sea at the restaurant near the lighthouse, so off we went, the new condo by the boat park is taking shape,

it is huge, I just hope there is never a power cut, the climb to the top of the stairs would be just way too much exercise for me!

we turned left into the road that runs past the boat yard,

it is along this stretch of road,

that things took a turn for the worse,

 it started raining,

 but we continued on,

we could almost see our destination,

grey clouds all around us now,

 not much further,

then the heavens really opened up, we had no choice but to pull over undercover and wait for the rain to stop, which thankfully it did, so on to breakfast,

but the best laid plans of mice and men and all of that, as we rounded the corner the entrance to the restaurant was blocked,

 by a work crew,

fixing the hill on the opposite side of the road, I guess to prevent a possible landslide,

so borrowing a line from Rare Birds, 'always have a plan B Dave!',

we made our way to Walking Street,

I do not remember this bar being here on our last visit,

we parked at the top of the street,

and made our way to Pattaya Beer Garden,

the tide now starting to come in,

we were tempted to sit outside,

but with rain still in the air,

it was inside for us, we shared a tom young goong soup, mini hamburgers for Diana,

 with home made fries,

and a chicken korma curry with plain rice for myself,

on our way home we stopped off at the market opposite the temple on Pattaya Tai,

and had a look at some of the shops there,

some shops were more interesting than others!

in the afternoon a few friends call round, Mark, Mr. Tony, Doc. Jeff and Alan all called in, we were then joined by Mad Mick and one of his friends, we had a full house! after saying our goodbyes and our evening meal we watched an episode of Poirot, then the last two of the excellent series of Ripper Street, we are so looking forward to series 3, by now it was late so we were off to bed.
