I was Off To Meet Glen,

we had arranged to have breakfast,

at the Punch and Judy, the view from the pub looking towards Thepprasit Road,

I parked at the side of the pub,

the new sunshade over the outdoor seating area now completely finished,

inside we were the first customers of the day,

lots of tables to chose from,

 breakfast is served,

omelet for Glen, normal size breakfast for myself, we chatted the morning away, after we said our goodbyes it was home for me, we spent the day indoors, every so often Diana would disappear into the kitchen,

and come back out again to consult this book, The Illustrated Encyclopedia of British Cooking, it contains 360 recipes, with 1,000 step by step photographs in it's 500 pages,

very soon delicious aromas were emanating from the kitchen, Diana was having another bake-a-cake day, the recipe for today West Country apple cake, but Diana also added some raisins, above is the page from the recipe book and it looked exactly as it did in the picture, even better it was delicious!

the yabbies have settled down, Diana took this picture of one,

in the evening we were off to the Thepprasit Road weekend night market, we made our way past one of the market shrines,

it was cloudy looking towards Jomtien,

 hopefully no rain the evening,

 but clearer skies looking inland,

 this weeks special, backpacks,

 happy shirts,

opposite the bar a couple of stalls were setting up,

work on the roofs of the stalls at the side of the market continue,

 one food aisle crowded,

the other with not quite so many shoppers,

the frame work on this section of the roof almost finished,

and at the far end the first of the roof tiles being fitted,

the further away from the road the quieter the aisles become,

not many customers in the pet section at all,

 sunset over the market,

I made my way back towards the bar,

 and noticed this banner,

an artists impression of what the finished market will look like with over market parking, but I have to be honest I am not quite sure where it will be,

by now it was getting dark,

we were joined this evening by Brian, after chatting away we made a move for home, pumpernickel and ham followed by some of Diana's delicious cake, a episode from Inspector Morse, two from LA Law and we were off to bed.
