Take A Good Long Look At The Following Three Pictures,

and see if there is anything strange about them,

all feature scenes and cars from a by gone era,
 caught in time,

and season,

but here is the thing,

they are the latest pictures from photographer Michael Paul Smith whose broad life experiences lead him to the creation of Elgin Park,

a fictional 20th century town filled with miniature 1/24th-scale models of cars and buildings, we have featured his works on our blog before

and here is the man himself, he mixes his carefully crafted model sets with die-cut automobiles and real-life backdrops, taking advantage of an optical illusion known as forced perspectiveHe’s is also on the verge of publishing a new book, Elgin Park, which is available now for preorder, if you scroll down on the pre order page there is a delightful video telling you all about Elgin Park, what a fantastic talent he has.
