Take A Careful Look,

at these bowls below,

they all have one thing in common,

other than they can all be eaten,

each one was created by Sydney-based foodie Ami,

who makes these milk bowls that she creates using fresh fruit, oats, and of course the one thing that all have in common,

coconuts, (Cocos nucifera), belongs to the Palm family (Arecaceae), they grow Malaysia, Polynesia and southern Asia, Spanish explorers named the cocos - meaning 'grinning face', because of the three little eyes on the base which they thought resembled a monkey, classed as a fruit and frequently confused for being a nut, the coconut is actually a one-seeded drupe, they are highly nutritious and rich in fibre and have many health benefits, including vitamins C, E, B1, B3, B5 and B6 and minerals like iron, selenium, sodium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorous, unlike cow's milk, coconut milk is lactose free so can be used as a milk substitute by those with lactose intolerance, back to Ami aka @the_sunkissed_kitchen, she shows that with this nutritious drink comes the opportunity to make stunning food art that really does look too good to eat! she also has a Facebook page, and if these are not tasty looking enough,

how about these sweet rice paper rolls? the recipe is here, the page is featured at the L'urv Life blog site, and no I am not on commission, I just love the look of the food!
