I Am Sure We Have All Seen,

advertising directed at us, along the lines of,


 say Netflix, because you watched Gone With The Wind, you would like to watch Birth of a Nation, or perhaps you bought a product, say black paint the pop up would ask if you wanted to buy white paint, you get the idea, so what happens if that were to take place in real life, say when we are out on holiday or visiting beauty spots? well it would look like this, 

artists Scott Kelly and Ben Polkinghorne decided to show what would happen in real life if our habits were on display,

"Perhaps you’re worried that as your life moves online and Alexa moves into your living room, your decisions are essentially being made for you," artists Scott Kelly and Ben Polkinghorne ​write in an statement on Signs of the Times, "Perhaps you’re worried you live in a bubble. Perhaps you’ve never thought about it. Hopefully, you are now." the highly visible signs mimic the now ubiquitous online recommendations, with one in front of the stunning Mount Taranaki suggesting "people who liked this also liked" with a list of three other mountainous wonders: New Zealand's Mount Cook, the extinct volcanic peak of "One Tree Hill," (known to the Maori People as "Maungakiekie"), ​and Australia's famed Uluru rock, thank goodness the advertising world has not thought of this way to influence us, yet.
